How many colors can JellyFish Lighting produce?

The system gives you a wide range of color options and allows you to customize your lighting for different occasions. You can create holiday colors, team colors, everyday accent lighting, and more.

Can I use the lights for more than Christmas?

Absolutely. Permanent lighting means you don’t have to take your lights down after the holidays.

Can I control my lights from my phone?

Who installs my JellyFish Lighting system?

AE Lighting Solutions installations are completed by our team of trained electricians. As a licensed electrical contractor, we focus on safe, professional installation and quality workmanship.

Where are the lights installed?

JellyFish lights are installed along the eaves of your property using a color-matched metal track. The installation can be configured for different mounting applications depending on the structure and design of your home or business.

Will the lights be noticeable during the day?

The system is designed to blend into your home when the lights are turned off. The color-matched track and discreet installation help maintain the appearance of your home during the daytime.

How long does installation take?

Installation time depends on the size of the project, roofline, access, and installation complexity. During your consultation, we can provide a better idea of the expected installation timeline for your property.

Do you install lighting on commercial properties?

Yes. JellyFish Lighting can be installed on commercial properties, and the system offers different mounting options depending on the building and application.

How much does JellyFish Lighting cost?

Every property is different, so the cost depends on the total linear footage, roofline, height, wiring requirements, and complexity of the installation.

AE Lighting Solutions currently lists pricing starting at approximately $3,000 for a single-story home. Your actual project price will be determined after we review your property and lighting needs.

How is JellyFish Lighting priced?

Pricing is primarily based on the linear footage of lighting needed. The cost per foot can vary depending on the complexity and height of the roofline.

We provide a project-specific quote so you know what your installation will cost.

Do you offer free quotes?

Yes. AE Lighting Solutions provides quotes by phone or in person. Contact our team to discuss your project and get started.

Can I get a quote without committing to an installation?

Yes. A quote allows you to understand your options and project cost before deciding whether you want to move forward.

Do you offer financing?

Financing options may be available for qualifying projects. Ask our team about the current financing programs available for your installation.

Financing is subject to lender approval and applicable terms and conditions.

How soon can my lighting be installed?

We are usually able to schedule installations within a few weeks. However, demand increases during the holiday season, so holiday installations can book up quickly.

If you’re hoping to have your lighting installed before a specific holiday, we recommend contacting us early.

Do you work year-round?

Yes. Permanent lighting can be installed and used throughout the year. You don’t have to wait until the holiday season to improve your home’s exterior lighting.

Do you provide service after installation?

Yes. If you have questions about your system or need assistance after installation, contact AE Lighting Solutions and we’ll help you determine the next steps.

What happens if one of my lights stops working?

Individual lights can be replaced if necessary. Contact our team if you experience an issue with your system and we’ll help determine what needs to be done.

Does the system require a special controller?

Yes. The JellyFish controller operates the lighting system and connects with the JellyFish Cloud app.

Can I update my lighting system?

JellyFish regularly develops and updates its technology. App and system updates can provide access to new features and improvements without necessarily requiring a complete replacement of your lighting system.

Are the lights energy efficient?

LED lighting is designed to provide bright illumination while using relatively little electricity. The exact energy use of your system depends on the number of lights, brightness, colors, and how frequently the system is used.

Does JellyFish Lighting come with a warranty?

Yes. JellyFish Lighting includes an industry-leading 5-year warranty, according to AE Lighting Solutions’ current FAQ.

How long is JellyFish Lighting designed to last?

JellyFish Lighting is designed and tested for long-term everyday use. AE Lighting Solutions notes that the system is tested to last approximately 15–20 years with everyday usage, while individual components may have different expected lifespans.

Is JellyFish Lighting made in the USA?

JellyFish Lighting is a U.S.-based company, with its controller, track, engineering, and design connected to its U.S. operations. Manufacturing can vary by component.

AE Lighting Solutions installed my Jellyfish lighting system. It has worked great since it was installed. Recently I couldn't get my app to open and turn on my lights with a new phone. I contacted Danny with AE Lighting, he responded to my house the same day and walked me through the app and found the problem was with my new phone, (their system wasn't the problem at all). After researching permanent lighting we determined that Jellyfish Lights were the best choice for us. That was emphasized even more once we met Danny from AE Lighting Solutions. He came to our home and explained the whole process and showed us the quality of the components and how they would work on our house. Installation was much sooner then we expected to our surprise. On installation day the crew lead text ahead of time with the arrival time. All of the crew was polite and professional. They were very careful as our house had just been painted. We're picky about exposed wires and there were none. The channel the lights live in was a perfect color match so you don't see the lights when off unless you are looking for them. The crew left our home and yard spotless. They fully tested the system, set up "zones" for us, then explained how to operate it all. We couldn't be happier with our decision. Hoping to be able to expand into landscape lighting that they offer in the future.
